History on this place is very scarse, all I know is Grahams Kitchens & Bathrooms closed in the mid 2000's. There was a arson fire in February 2010, and there was a report in the Huddersfield Examiner on the 20th of Feb.
A DISUSED kitchen and bathroom business has been declared a no-go zone after it was torched by arsonists.
Police have told people to stay away from the Graham’s Kitchens and Bathrooms site, on Leeds Road in Huddersfield.
Dozens of firefighters spent more than five hours tackling a huge blaze at the premises on Thursday night.
Crews from Huddersfield, Elland, Brighouse, Dewsbury, Hunslet and Mirfield, and an aerial fire engine from Bradford were sent out at about 9.30pm.
Watch manager Gary Hatton, from Huddersfield fire station, said the fire was thought to be suspicious.
He said: “There were several spots where the fire had started, which straight away makes you think that something isn’t right.
“It also made it quite a difficult one to deal with. The building was heavily smoke-logged and there was lots of smoke coming out of the top.”
The four-storey building, near the junction with Thistle Street, is currently empty.
The fire crews cleared the premises of smoke and put out the flames.
No-one was hurt in Thursday night’s incident, which finished at about 3am.
Police and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s investigation unit are now looking into the cause of the blaze.
They are appealing for witnesses.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are calling on anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact them with any information.
“Police are also warning people to stay away from the premises for their own safety.”
